From dealers, rental agencies and repair shops (and more), the Canadian automotive industry offers many rewarding career opportunities and long term. In fact, Canada’s automotive industry is the sixth largest in the world, accounting for 25% of exports of goods across the country. According to the Association of Canadian automotive industry directly employed in the secondary market (which has been producing, processing, distribution, retail and wholesale of spare parts, accessories, tools, equipment, accessories, chemical products and services) amounted to 410 700 jobs in 2009.
Despite the numbers, it would be reasonable to assume that the prospect of employment in this sector have been successful in recent years. The economic crisis in 2008, along with automation and rapid global warming creates a complex problem, and caused 21% reduction in new car sales … that seems to drip effect in all areas of automobile sales production, and repair.
